Stop The Credit Repair Scams

Stop The Credit Repair Scams

Credit repair scams are on the rise. Ads making false claims on how consumers can increase their credits by 200 points in less than 60 days, how to get all bad items removed from credit reports in 45-60 days, using Artificial Intelligence to get items removed from credit reports, and many other false claims in order to get your money.

These scams are costing consumers millions of dollars annually because there are virtually no no laws that require credit repair companies are properly educated and licensed. Many of these companies and individuals have little to no experience in credit manage or counseling, they purchase a course, get some basic knowledge and claim themselves as credit repair specialists. The problem is consumers have no idea of what questions to ask, who to trust, or what to expect.

The best way to avoid credit repair scams is by having the knowledge and understanding of how the credit systems work. Arm yourself with knowledge and information that will assure you that you are working with a legitimate company. If the company or individual(s) are not willing to answer important questions like, what's your plan for addressing my credit problems? how will you accomplish this?, how will I know if you are providing the service I paid for?
